The pool is an open and obvious hazard. At no time is there a lifeguard on duty. Guest are required to sign a pool liability waiver.
Neighborhood overview
Cottontown is one of Columbia’s first planned suburbs. Established in the late 1890s, Cottontown is listed as the “Bellevue Historic District” in the National Register of Historic Places and is protected as an architectural conservation district by the City of Columbia. Bounded by Grace Avenue, Bull Street, Elmwood Avenue and Main Street, the neighborhood is remarkable as an intact example of one of Columbia’s earliest planned suburbs.

Along with its proximity to Columbia’s downtown business district, it is close to the BullStreet District and the revitalized North Main Street area. Cottontown is a short drive to the Vista, the University of South Carolina, and Five Points, and has easy access to I-26 and I-20.
Getting around
Columbia is very much a driving town with tons of parking everywhere. If you don't have a car, there is Uber and Lyft which are easy to come by in our area. If you do have a car, free on-site parking is available at our home.
